Steven Craig's Custom Saleen
Vehicle owners Steven & Liz Craig brought there vehicle to 281 Motorsports in Fullerton California to create build a “one-of-a-kind” car. Steven is a 17 year Active Veteran in the Army National Guard where he is otherwise known as CPL Craig. After bringing there car 350 miles south just to be worked on, they met with Jason Cenora, Owner of 281 Motorsports. After getting to know the couple Jason presented the idea of doing a tribute to CPL Craig’s fallen warriors in his last tour in Iraq. CPL Craig contacted his superiors to gain permission to pay tribute and the “ok” was given. 18 lives were lost in his squadron during his last tour and respect is paid to them in this honorary display. CPL Craig’s wife Liz made a outstanding tribute DVD that is played on the vehicles video screens at car shows, events and for fellow military comrades. It debuted at the Mustangs at the Queen Mary show for Saleen Speedlab courtesy of Mark Patzrick, Ned Shortsleeve and Jared Chavez. Jeff Philips from Superior Axles fell in love with the vehicle and insisted it be display on their behalf at the 2008 SEMA Show where is received thousands of admirers.
